Tales from Camelot --- Lancelot's Trial

I find the Arthurian Legend to be one of the richest, most fascinating literary playgrounds around, and I've decided to add my own spin on the timeless myth through a series of vignettes that will explore the legendary love triangle from the point of view of Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot.

The first book in the series, And So I Waited,  is Lancelot's tale.

When tragedy brings the young Lancelot du Lac to Camelot, he finds himself seduced by the idea of becoming one of the famed knights of Camelot. But his dream is threatened by the infighting of the Pendragon family who are on the brink of a family  civil war, thanks to the appearance of a young man claiming to be the lost Prince Arthur. Lancelot soon finds himself bonding with the young man, but their relationship becomes complicated when Arthur's betrothed, Princess Guinevere Leodegrance arrives. Arthur wants no part of this arranged marriage, but Lancelot soon finds himself drawn to the beautiful young woman who very quickly becomes all his heart desires...
